Great British Bear Bash - 29 April - 3 May 2010
A festival of furry, friendly fun held every May. This friendly and attitude-free event features club nights, parties, themed videos and the Great Bear Sauna.

Queer Up North14 - 31 May 2010
Queer Up North International Festival will be back in May 2010. A programme of trailer events will begin in April, with the full festival opening in May.

Pride Games - 6 - 13 June 2010
An annual week long LGBT multi-sports & leisure festival. Athletics (coaching & competition), Mountain Biking (coaching & races) Squash, 5-a-side football, 5km & 10km runs, Ballroom and Latin Dance masterclasses and the famous Bellboat Regatta.

Sparkle – 9 - 11 July 2010
One of the biggest celebration of all things transgender, with a fun mix of both social and support activities. Includes talks, workshops, meals, clubs, information and so much more.

Manchester Jazz Festival – 23 - 31 July 2010
Manchester’s 15th annual, week-long jazz festival featuring contemporary jazz performances across the city centre. Watch out for outdoor performances in St Ann’s Square, late sessions at Matt & Phred’s.

Manchester Pride – 20 - 30 August 2010
Manchester’s dynamic lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival provides a colourful celebration including arts, film, events and the fabulous Big Parade!
