Contact is Manchester's pioneering theatre for explosive new performance - bringing together an unexpected mix of ideas, young people, artists, cultures, and experiences. With a varied programme combining local, international and national touring theatre, you can see the latest in new writing, hip-hop theatre, contemporary dance, music and visual arts.

Contact includes three theatre spaces - Space 1, a 300 seat end-on theatre; Space 2, a 70 seat flexible studio, and Space 3, a rehearsal, workshop and performance space. The building hosts new gallery exhibitions every few months and performances also take place in the theatre's café bar, Contact Lounge, as well as unexpected places outside the building itself.

Contact also provides professional development opportunities for artists and is interested in working with artists and companies with exciting new ideas for theatre through spoken word, audio visuals, music, media, movement, live art, poetry, rap, installations and more.
