Coronation Street The Tour

The cobbles of Coronation Street are now open to the public for a limited time only.

05 April 2014 - 31 December 2015

Coronation Street The Tour is a unique opportunity to walk down the famous cobbles of the nation's street, have your picture taken at the bar of the Rovers Return and take a tour behind the scenes of the former Manchester sets.

Studio guides will share fascinating facts and stories from over 50 years of filming at the site which now has a new home at MediaCityUK.

Reminisce with family and friends with footage of memorable scenes and iconic props, as well as visiting actual room sets opened to the public for the very first time from 5 April 2014.

The first stop on the tour is the Green Room, an exclusive area where cast members used to relax. The group are then led down the "Corridor of Stars", where they can peek inside a star's dressing room, through to wardrobe where some of the Street's most iconic costumes are kept.

Following this, the tour takes visitors into stage one where they can see selected interior sets including Carla's flat, the Platt's and the Duckworth's.

Walking through the studio, visitors will have plenty of opportunities to reminisce about the Street's history through iconic artefacts including Deirdre's glasses and Roy's train set.

Visitors are then welcome to spend as much time as they like on the Street, pose for pictures outside the Rovers, the Kabin or Roy's Rolls and buy a souvenir at the gift shop.
