Altrincham Farmers Market
Monthly, every first Friday, 8am - 2pm

A small select band of farmers and producers join regular stallholders every first Friday at Altrincham Market. Selling home grown seasonal veg, Black Welsh Beef, Rossendale Lamb, Free Range Eggs, homemade sweet and savoury pies, fresh fish and seafood, cheese and dairy, preserves and artisan breads.

Monthly, every third Sunday, 11am - 3.30pm

Ashton Farmers and Producers Market
Monthly, every last Sunday

On the last Sunday of each month, Ashton's famous market ground hosts a Farmers' and Producers' Market. With over 70 stalls it is the biggest in the region, The Farmers' and Producers' Market was recognised as the Best in The North West by the NFU and was voted the Best Farmers' Market in the North West by readers of the Observer Food Magazine.

Bolton Market
Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am - 5pm.

Bolton Market has won the MFDF Best Food and Drink Outlet Award, been voted 'Best Food Market' at the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards 2011 and 'Best Indoor Retail Market 2010' by the National Association of British Market Authorities. Recently refurbished, the market retains its traditional atmosphere and features Bolton's famous fish market.

Voted a 'top ten' UK food market, Some of the freshest produce in the North West can be found here; including locally grown vegetables brought to market by the farmer himself, award winning meats, hand raised pies, and freshly made soups. Make sure you don't miss the local delicacy of Bury Black pudding, served hot or cold with lashings of mustard or piccalilli.


Castlefield Artisan Market
Monthly, every first Sunday, 10am - 4pm

Castlefield's monthly Artisan Market is the only place in Manchester where you can browse for antiques and bric-a-brac whilst meeting with the specialist producers, artists and collectors from the region. Many of the food stalls have samples for people to try and there's a wide range on offer.


Chorlton Street Market
Monthly, every third Saturday, 9am - 4pm

This vibrant market now regularly attracts over 34 stalls per month. The market is incredibly popular with shoppers, who come from afar to sample to delights of a wide selection of foods on offer by specialist food traders with locally sourced food, arts & crafts and clothing.

Chorlton Farmers Market and Craft Fair
Monthly, every last Saturday, 11am - 4pm

The monthly market continues to go from strength to strength, as the cream of the Northwest's farmers, growers, producers and artisans descend on Chorlton Green to sell directly to the public. There's more reasons than ever to pay a visit, as there's recently been a number of new stalls introduced. There is also a BBQ on the terrace weather permitting.


Eccles Farmers Market

Eccles Farmers Market grows increasingly popular, boasting a wide ranging selection of local produce ranging from homemade sausages, salami, preserves, pies, cakes, cheeses, ostrich meat and lots more. Local food never tasted so good-try it and you'll see!

Heaton Moor Producers Market
Monthly, every first Saturday, 10am - 2pm

Heaton Moor Producers Market has stallholders from the local & surrounding areas, offering a wide range of products, including fresh produce, gift items & crafts. Producers at each market include Pixie Bakery, The Handmade Feast, Little Bird Catering and Shaw's cheesemongers.


Littleborough Farmers Market
Monthly, every first Sunday, 10am - 3pm

The Farmers Market taking place on the car parks of the Conservative Club and the Village Health Centre, selling home-grown vegetables, home-made pies and chutneys, meet, cheese, cakes and more.

Manchester Piccadilly Real Food Market

Northenden Farmers Market

Northenden Market has gone from strength to strength, offering local produce from farmers, butchers and bakers in the Northwest. The market offers a selection of meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, olives, pies, baked goods, specialty cheeses and homemade confectionery.


Prestwich Artisan Market

Ramsbottom Artisan Market
Monthly, every second Sunday, 9.30am - 3pm

The Market features more than 35 stalls and brings together farmers and producers from all over the Northwest. A vast array of local produce is available, including jams, breads and homemade fudge, fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meat (including ostrich), savoury pies and seafood.


Saddleworth Farmers Market

Stockport Farmers Market

Urmston Market
Every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 9am - 4pm

Established nearly 80 years, the market consists of an indoor food hall and an outside open market with an under cover cafe area. Some regular trader have been with the market over 30 years. Stalls sell lots of local produce including fresh fish, meat, cheese, cakes and preserves.

Westhoughton Farmers Market

Winner of The Britain's Best Small Indoor Market 2012, this indoor market with 33 stalls provides a wonderful, traditional shopping experience. A great place to pick up, handmade and bespoke items, good-quality, fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce.

Whitefield Artisan Market
