A brilliant place to hang out. Go to the cinema, look around the gallery and sit in the window of the café and watch the world go by.

The bread, meats and cheeses they sell there are just wonderful - you can find anything there. Check out the outdoor sausage pan at weekends.

Cycle from the city centre to Altrincham and enjoy the great scenery. There's even a few canalside pubs to stop at to quench your thirst.
