British Gas Great Salford Swim

The British Gas Salford Swim is a one mile route taking in the rejuvenated Salford Quays.

The course features a unique 'dock to dock' lay-out, which starts in Dock 9 near The Lowry and MediaCityUK, crosses Mariners Canal and finishes in Dock 8 beside Salford Watersports Centre. Spectators will be able to walk along the dockside following swimmers around the one mile course with a shorter spectator route available if required.
