The Great Manchester Swim is one fifth of Europe's biggest open water swim series, diving into lakes, lochs and docks across the country and is returning to the city on Saturday 19 July.

Swim in a unique urban waterway on a course that begins in Dock 9 near The Lowry and MediaCityUK, traverses Mariners Canal and finishes one mile away at Dock 8 beside Salford Watersports Centre.

With waterside spectator access throughout the course, friends and family are able to cheer and encourage you on throughout your challenge.

Suitable for swimmers of all abilities aged 16 years and above, you can enjoy this event safe in the knowledge that expert safety kayakers will be with you every stroke of the way.
