For steak and seafood, with impeccable service and a lively atmosphere, this restaurant can't be beaten.
The menu reflects seasonal produce and the steak of the month is a great chance to taste different breeds. For the more extravagant palette ostrich is also on the menu. Fear not if you prefer food which comes out of the water, as there is a large seafood and fish selection in full view from the open kitchen.

This restaurant has authenticity coming out of its ears! You will find all the usual suspects on a tapas menu, my favourites are the chorizo (comes as mini sausages rather than sliced), meatballs, patatas bravas, tortilla and the fabulous seafood.
It is full-on hustle and bustle with such a lively atmosphere. The décor will also have you fooled into thinking you've been knocked over the head and woken up in Spain! If you want fine dining service this is not for you, but if you want delicious, freshly cooked food you will adore El Rincon!

The menu reads like a who's who of the best of our regional produce with Mrs Kirkham's, Pugh's Piglets, Goosenargh chicken & Dolphinholme goat's cheese. I like the a la carte menu BUT I love the lunch menu, all my home comforts on one page makes choosing very difficult! And there's a lunchtime offer of 2 courses for £9.95, bargain!
The restaurant also does a great Sunday lunch, known to feature Cheshire beef and lamb, Gressingham chicken and a great range of vegetarian options.

Sam's is a Manchester stalwart open since 1872 and deserves the strap line “The Famous Sam's Chop House”!
Highlights in a menu of traditional fare include Brown Onion Soup, topped with a Lancashire cheese crouton, Corned Beef Hash Cake, topped with a poached egg and HP dressing. You can also get your hotpot fix on the express lunch menu (2 courses for £11.99), which would allow you to then take the opportunity to sample an Eccles cake with vanilla ice cream – genius!

Next to the food store, this is a fabulous space housing a restaurant, brasserie and bar. The restaurant's huge glass walls offer a fantastic view of Exchange Square and the menu provides a mix of local produce and more unusual ingredients. Operating a flexible prix fixe system you can decide to run the gamut and go for the Menu Gourmand or a simply choose two courses!
The Brasserie offers some great lighter options, from salads, pasta, sandwiches, to an all day breakfast! And no trip to Harvey Nics would be complete without a cocktail at the bar...
