Getting to Manchester from Ireland

Manchester airport is ideally placed to become your gateway to England's Northwest. It takes around an hour from most airports in Ireland, and with many airlines offering routes into the city, you can find a real bargain!

Getting around

From the airport, trains to the city centre run every 15 minutes into Piccadilly Train Station, the average journey time is 20 minutes and costs just a few Euros.

There are regular buses leaving for The Trafford Centre from Piccadilly Gardens, just a 5-minute walk from Piccadilly Train Station:

250 - running every 10-15 minutes, 36 minute journey

X50 - running every 30 minutes,  the new express bus link to Manchester Piccadilly, offering journey times of just 25 minutes.

Alternatively, you can jump into a taxi from the airport to anywhere in Greater Manchester.
