Manchester Guided Tours are 25 experienced and qualified Guides; their aim is to offer entertaining  and informative tours. The year round Daily Discover Manchester tour will be running throughout the Christmas holiday period. Showcasing Manchester as a vibrant modern city with its museums, innovation, quirky cafes, thriving music scene and skyscraper developments.

Throwing visitors back in time through historical Manchester. The tour will marvel at the architecture, listen to stories of philanthropy at John Rylands Library, imagine the noisy trade floor now the Royal Exchange Theatre where men made traded cotton for guineas and meander through nineteenth century shopping arcades to the Georgian spleandour of St Anns Square and its church.

These tours will take visitors away from the drudge of the shopping,wrapping and turkey cooking to put a festive bounce back in anyone's step.

Christmas tales of Manchester ancient and modern. From sacred to secular, enjoy a guided walk through the festive city.

A new year, a new start! Get up (fairly) early, bring  friends and hear about our original, modern city.

The tours can be booked in advance via: or you can pay the Guide £8 direct on the day.  Tours last 90 minutes and cover a distance of roughly 1.5 miles on pavements.
