This stunning municipal park was originally presented to the people of Heywood by Queen Victoria in 1879. This Grade 2 listed park is of major landscape and historical importance, with gardens and a lake to enjoy. The park also still features some fine original buildings and structures including the Lodge House and the Victoria Fountain. Events are held every weekend and the park can also be the starting point for walks into the Ashworth Valley and along the River Roch.
