Odd by name, Odd by nature - an independent, free-spirited establishment residing right in the heart of the Northern Quarter. Fabulous food menu all freshly home-made accompanied by the most massive selection of drinks from ALL over the world (beers, spirits, ales & concoctions - you name it they have got it!) they also have the best musical entertainment in the form of some of Manchester’s finest DJs Thursday – Sunday (including El Diablo, Detroit Public Radio and Piccadilly Records) every week as well as various ad hoc events, a monthly acoustic night (3rd Sunday of every month) and a rather lovely juke box chosen by the regulars. As if that’s not enough they have a giant Cinema Screen downstairs for your viewing pleasure, free Wi-Fi, free newspapers and even free brollies to protect one’s elaborate coiffure from the Manchester weather. Check out the ever changing gallery wall featuring the best of Manchester’s up and coming artists. Mainly though, it’s the warm and friendly atmosphere that pervades throughout and the wonderfully eclectic (& eccentric) mix of people that work, drink and sometimes it seems even live at Odd.
