Manchester Aquatics Centre

Built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games, Manchester Aquatics Centre is home to two 50-metre swimming pools and a specialist diving pool that can also be used for water polo. There is also a fitness studio, workout studio and a health suite. Manchester Aquatics Centre hosts national and international swimming, water polo and diving competitions. The Manchester Aquatics Centre is also home to a light and airy fitness studio and a workout studio offering a range of equipment and classes, including cross training machines, rowing machines and bikes as well as a free weights area. In the workout studio, there is an impressive and extensive range of classes including Swiss ball, kick aerobics and body pump. Situated on the lower level, the health suite incorporates a sauna and steam room and sun-beds available in both 5 and 10 minute sessions. There is also a café offering a wide range of both hot and cold food.
