HotelThe Princess on Portland Hotel is a grade II listed building that lies on the corner of Portland Street and Princess Street in the heart of Manchester City Centre, the building was constructed in 1870 and was formerly a Victorian cotton warehouse. This beautiful charismatic building is a fantastic base for exploring the City, only a 10 minute walk from Piccadilly Train station and, just minutes from great shopping, vibrant nightlife and a wealth of culture on your doorstep. Rooms are comfortable and airy with high ceilings, large windows, soft white duvets and ensuite bathrooms. The Hotel also has preferential car parking rates at a nearby car park and complimentary WiFi throughout the building. There are two dinning experiences the less formal Brasserie on Portland where you can relax on our sofas and enjoy a glass of wine while reading the extensive menu or if you prefer a more formal setting we have our Restaurant which offers a cosy atmosphere with low lighting and candles. Both dining options offer a good variation of food from our delicious home-made beef burgers and hand cut chips to a lighter goats cheese and red pepper salad, and the desserts are also amazing! We also have a fantastic Conference Centre with 8 meeting rooms and a maximum capacity of 56 people, all rooms come with the latest audio visual equipment and unlimited refreshments.
