Kersal Dale occupies around 32 hectares of countryside and forms part of the Croal Irwell Valley. With beautiful beech woodland to amble through and the River Irwell to wonder along Kersal Dale offers a welcome break from city life. The site is soon to be Salford’s 2nd local nature reserve (LNR) with the help and support from the friends of Kersal Dale group. Activities to do include: kids activities, walks & talks, discovering wildlife, orienteering and an environmental education program.
