28th Oldham Beer Festival

The annual Oldham Beer Festival returns to the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Why not hop along and sample some of the brews on offer?
The event, run by the Rochdale, Oldham and Bury branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) – is now in its 28th year and is still as popular as ever.
This year more than 60 of the best real ales, ciders, perries, fruit wines, and imported bottled beers will be on offer.
Also flying in for its second appearance at the festival is Silver Owl, which was created especially by Greenfield Brewery for the 25th annual event.
In keeping with tradition, every year focusses on bringing to the borough the best ales from a particular part of the country and this year 18 of the brews on offer at the pumps are coming from the Midlands.
The festival will take place from 12 noon until 10.30pm on Friday 11 and Saturday 12, March.
Admission is £3 before 5.30pm on Friday and £5 after 5.30pm. Saturday is £3 all day.
CAMRA member are entitled to a discount of £2.
All proceeds from the festival will be going to the Mayor of Oldham’s Charity Appeal Fund.
