A splendid timber-framed house dating from Tudor times, set in the beautiful grounds of Wythenshawe Park in South Manchester. It was the home of the Tatton family for nearly 400 years. Original features from the 1540 building can be seen alongside later additions in the centuries following. The Hall has a long and eventful history and played a dramatic role in the events of the English Civil War. A visit to the Hall today provides a fascinating view into the development of the area.
