The Crescent Pub

The Crescent Pub

The Crescent is a pub and is one of the most Historic Pubs of Salford. A Grade II Listed Building built in the 1860's where Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels once drank and discussed revolution and the theory of Communism. The pub stands on The Crescent, a busy dual carriageway on the A6 corridor close to Salford University and less than1 mile from Manchester City Centre.

There is a unique charm about the place, with its rustic open fire and friendly atmosphere, those who visit for a first time are certain to return. The pub has up to 10 Real Ales and 3 Scrumpy Ciders available together with a wide range of Continental beers.

The pub hosts events such as quarterly beer festivals, a Monday night Quiz from 21:00, a Wednesday curry night from 17:00 - 20:00, regular live music in the vault and an open mic night on Sunday's fortnightly at 19:30.

The pub has a selection of real ales for customers to choose from and a traditional pub grub lunch menu which includes burgers, chips, salads and pies. Main meals start from £2.00.
