George’s namesake, architect Sir George Gilbert Scott, is probably the most successful and famous architect of the Victorian era, with many landmark buildings to his name. He even designed the village church, St. Marks and resided in Worsley for periods during its build between 1844-46.
The menu is thoroughly planned and researched by our head chef, Andrew Parker. In conjunction with our award winning butchers and master fishmongers Andrew picks the best of British and has created the perfect blend of casual and elegant dining. Categorised as modern British we are proud of where we’re from and use locally sourced produce where possible, whilst taking influence from all over the world.
