Dishes such as the Manchurian sizzling fillet of beef, Mabel's Claypot and Lilly Kwok's Chicken Curry have catapulted Sweet Mandarin into the Top 100 restaurants in the UK.
The home-style cooking is based on recipes passed down from generation to generation and features offerings like Lily Kwok's Chicken Curry and Mabel's Claypot Chicken. The bar is licensed for non-diners and has a fantastic selection of beers, wines, award winning-champagnes (like Champagne Gremillet which won the 2007 IWSC Champagne Non Vintage Trophy) and exclusive cocktails such as the real snake blood cocktail.
Sweet Mandarin is situated in the heart of the hip Northern Quarter in a prime location on the corner of Copperas Street and the top end of High Street, overlooking the Old Smithfield Fishmarket facade. A casual dining restaurant, Sweet Mandarin is perfect for a quick bite to eat, groups celebrating all occasions, as well as couples and families.
