Rhubarb opened to rave reviews in 2003, and within three months had scooped the coveted 'Newcomer of the Year award' at the Manchester Food and Drink festival, and received a 5 star rating in the Metro Newspaper.It has continued to impress with its modern international menu in this lively yet intimate venue. Mark Ramsden, chef and co-owner delivers a menu that is truly eclectic, calling on influences from French, Asian, Caribbean, modern American and Mediterranean flavours.
Quality ingredients, and a dedicated team of chefs ensure that Rhubarb offers a unique and rewarding dining experience. Front of house is overseen by Mark's wife, Lisa who was also behind the design of the restaurant's calm & modern interior. The menu changes frequently, and there is also a great value set menu available from 5pm Tuesday to Saturday.
