Although some of the region’s bonfire events, such as those at Heaton Park, Wythenshawe Park and Platt Fields, won’t be going ahead this year after confirmation from the council, there’s still plenty happening across Greater Manchester.
As autumn deepens and families gear up for Bonfire Night on Wednesday, 5 November 2025, the region will light up with dazzling firework displays, roaring bonfires, funfairs, and festivities for all ages. Plan ahead with our guide to the best Bonfire Night celebrations across Greater Manchester’s 10 boroughs - including all the confirmed displays and events taking place near Bury, Bolton, Manchester, Oldham, Salford, Stockport, Rochdale, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan.
