Happy National Curry Week Manchester! 

In honour of National Curry Week (7-13 October), we’ve pulled together a list of some of the best Indian restaurants in the Manchester area. The city is bustling with culture and rich flavours, so you’re guaranteed to find something you love! 

1. Zouk Tea Bar & Grill

Kicking it off is Zouk, renowned for its authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes that you can enjoy in their relaxed restaurant setting. 

In true Zouk style, will you take on their Bottomless Curry Challenge?  

They are giving customers the chance to enjoy bottomless curry. For £25 diners can eat as much curry, rice, samosas, and naan bread as their heart desires. 

Served from midday to midnight, Monday October 7th to Friday October 11th, guests can choose from four curry options, which change every day, giving people the chance to return daily to sample different dishes if they have the appetite for it!

2. The Laureate at Hyatt Regency

The Laureate at Hyatt Regency is offering an unlimited curry menu every first Thursday of each month up until the 5th of December.  

The experience will be £19.99/per person, and you can choose from Eight Family Recipes that will leave you wanting more. The restaurant has a spacious, chic vibe to it, they offer a great wine selection and serve all locally sourced ingredients.

3. Dishoom

Dishoom has a reputation for being one of the best Indian spots in Manchester.  

They pride themselves on authenticity which is often hard to find and pay loving homage to the Irani cafes that were once part of the fabric of life in Bombay. Open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon chai, dinner and late tipples. All are very welcome! 

Begin your day with a Bacon Naan Roll or perhaps a Parsi Omelette. For lunch, try Roomali Rotis – baked and filled to order – or the finest freshest salads. Sip chai. Or taste fantastic coolers, cocktails and dry tipples. Come for dinner for two or gather friends and family for a sharing feast.  

  

4. Mowgli Street Food

Mowgli Street Food is all about how Indians eat at home and on their streets. She was born to feed the raw need Indians have for tiffins full of fresh bright intense flavour. It is a spot for diners to uncover their love for spices with an array of unique sharing dishes on offer to choose from.  

You can find the entrance to Mowgli by heading inside the Corn Exchange via the beautiful atrium.  

5. Rola Wala

Rola Wala reimagines fast food with an authentic edge. They’re all about bold Indian street food flavours, served up fast and fresh with a unique twist. Their footlong naan rolls, hearty curry bowls, and vibrant naan tacos shun the ordinary – there’s not a mass-produced sauce, faux meat, or gloopy curry in sight. Everything they serve is crafted from scratch right in front of you, guaranteeing a custom, fresh experience every time. 

6. Delhi House Café

This cafe-meets-restaurant concept is family-run and aims to re-define Indian Cuisine in Manchester with a menu full of stunning contemporary Indian dishes. The menu is a showcase of what ‘India eats today’.  

They are all about fresh, authentic Indian flavours with key dishes like the ‘Not my Burger’ – an open burger of homemade beef kebabs served on a handmade tandoori naan and the Mysore Pak cheesecake, a dish with its origins in Mysore in India.  

You can find them located inside the Corn Exchange. 

7. Amor

Amor is Rochdale’s newest gem. They pride themselves on their modern Indian dishes, with an innovative team working to deliver a new story with every dish they serve. 

If you are looking for a relaxed, homely setting then look no further. Expect nothing but excellence at this new spot in the heart of Bamford!

8. Bundobust

Bundobust is a flavour-packed vegetarian and vegan Indian Street Food restaurant with two locations in Manchester, one on Oxford Road and the other over by Piccadilly Gardens. However, what is extra special about the Oxford Road venue is that it has its very own in-house brewery! 

They serve food that everyone will love including their popular Bhaji Butty - who knew it would work so well - plus an array of other delicious sharing dishes.
