Walmsleys of Ramsbottom

Small, family run Howarth’s of Flixton have won an amazing array of awards including ‘Gold medal winners of Britain’s best Cumberland sausage’ and ‘Gold medal Award winning Flixton dry cured middle bacon’. Jon Howarth is also a two times national sausage champion and winner of many other gold and platinum awards for other meat products.

Taylors of Sale

Taylors of Sale are a 6th generation family run butchers that have been selling quality meat since 1850. They put animal welfare high on their list of priorities and set themselves consistently high standards offering a level of customer service rarely found in supermarkets.

When asked what they liked most about specialist butcher Axons of Didsbury, many people practically shouted ‘sausages’.
