A brand new secret cocktail club has opened in Manchester's Northern Quarter. The team behind Hatters Hostel and West Corner Diner have launched a new intimate bar: The Corner Cocktail Club.
Hidden in a secret Northern Quarter location, this brand new intimate bar have created an extensive drink menu developed to take guests on a journey back to the heyday of cocktail making but also with a few modern quirks thrown in for good measure.
General Manager, Adam McLean, explained: "We love cocktails that focus on the quality and flavour of the main spirits, complimented by just a few honest ingredients."
"We have therefore put an emphasis on vintage cocktail recipes, some of which date as far back as the 1800’s, and in doing so we hope we have created an exceptional experience which honours the craft and history of expert cocktail making."
The Corner Cocktail Club will also provide trays of exclusive sharing dishes designed and prepared by the expert chefs of West Corner and its Head Chef Romin Faharani, formerly of Hawksmoor.
Initially The Corner Cocktail Club will be reservation only, but plans to open its doors a little more widely to the passing crowds and will also be available for private events and demonstrations.
Adam McLean added: "It’s an intimate space with not a huge number of tables. Everything is table service and we like to take the time and attention to go through the various cocktails and rare spirits. As such, to ensure we achieve the right experience for our customers, we will initially offer tables by reservation only on Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm".
