On Sunday 4th June Ariana Grande returned to Manchester with a number of global superstars to raise money for the We Love Manchester emergency fund.

The concert was attended by 50,000 and watched by millions across the world. The Red Cross raised over £2 million on the night which included performances from Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay and a surprise appearance from Liam Gallagher. 

Below are 9 highlights from the emotional show that highlighted the spirit of Manchester showing solidarity and unity through the power of live music.

1. A sold out crowd gathers at Old Trafford Cricket Ground

 

Tickets sold out in an incredible 6 minutes as 50,000 fans joined Ariana Grande in spreading messages of love, strength and unity from Manchester.

2. Robbie Williams with an emotional rendition of Angels

 

Angels is Robbie William's biggest selling single and the sold out crowd joined in every lyric with barely a dry eye in sight. Robbie finished off the song by declaring "Manchester we are strong".

 

 

3. Dancing security and police officers captured the true spirit of Manchester 

 

On a night of hightened secuirty with the world watching, many of the excellent officers and staff on duty joined hand in hand fans in dancing to the music.

 

 

4. Ariana joins The Black Eyed Peas for a spectacular performance of "Where Is The Love" 

 

The 23 year old singer joined will.i.am, Taboo and apl.de.ap to perform The Black Eyed Peas hit song "Where Is The Love".

 

 

5. Ariana Grande joins in with a choir from Parrs Wood High School 

 

After posting a video of the choir singing Ariana's hit 'My Everything' the choir was invited to perform at the One Love Manchester concert by Ariana herself. During the second verse Ariana joined the choir on stage and embraced with the children performing.

 

 

6. Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande embrace and duet 

 

In a heart-warming coming together of friendship, support and talent, Miley Cyrus joined Ariana Grande on stage to perform Don't Dream It's Over and ended the performance with an emotional embrace. 

 

 

7. Music stars from across the globe send a message to support those affected by the Manchester attack. 

 

Stars from across the world including Rita Ora, Paul McCartney, Shawn Mendes & many more give their support to Manchester. 

 

 

8. A guest appearance from one of Manchester's favourites

 

Liam Gallagher took to the stage with Coldplay to perform the Mancunian anthem "Live Forever"

 

 

9. Ariana Grande performs 'One Last Time' 

 

Joined on stage by her friends and other performing artists, Ariana Grande sang a emotional rendition of her hit single 'One Last Time'
