Drink, dine and relax at this Eclectic, contemporary, all-day dining destination. Serving classic favourites crafted from local, market-inspired ingredients alongside smaller sharing plates and their sought after (indulgent) Afternoon Tea, The Tavern is Manchester’s place to eat, sip and socialise in for informal, everyday occasions.

Hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of Manchester’s city centre and vibrant King Street, The Tavern is a warm and inviting retreat, showcasing soft lighting, plush booths and lavish décor synonymous with the Eclectic Hotel Collection properties, designed by co-founder and interior designer Sally O’Loughlin.

Richard Kwiecien, Managing Director, Eclectic Hotel Collection, says, “This is the all day dining destination that Manchester has been waiting for. Myself and our team of Directors were inspired by the relaxed, neighbourhood restaurant scene in New York. The Tavern at King Street Townhouse offers seasonally-inspired contemporary cuisine infused with Eclectic sensibilities; all day dining from breakfast to brunch, a quiet spot for your business lunch, a relaxed and informal dinner, post work drinks or a place to simply enjoy a coffee, laptop in tow.”

Guests and locals alike can re-charge with The Tavern’s warming restaurant offerings such as homemade fish pie, shepherd’s pie and fresh salads or enjoy sharing plates such as calamari or carpaccio over a glass or two of wine. Unwind with the full-service bar offering, serving premium wine, beer, Champagne and cocktails or sit back and enjoy the finest tea and coffee over a good book.

Throughout December, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, The Tavern will have a DJ playing from 6pm onwards; perfect for post work drinks in the most Eclectic of settings.
