An open day at Stockport’s Tough Tribe Outdoor Training facility will allow people to try the obstacle course for free on Sunday, 15 April (10am-2pm).

Based at Life Leisure’s Stockport Sports Village in Lambeth Grove, Woodley, Stockport, the facility is designed to provide year-round access to common obstacles and terrain challenges featured in some of the country’s most popular Obstacle Course Race (OCR) events.

During the open day, the facility will open its obstacle walls, scramble nets, high inclines, rope climbs, pulleys, pyramid climb, quarter pipe run and monkey bars, along with a whole range of other challenges, to anyone over the age of eight (children must be accompanied by an adult) who wants to give OCR a try.

The Tough Tribe Outdoor Training Facility will be open year-round to members of the public on either as a pay-as-you train or membership basis, with instructor-led ‘Tribe Training’ options also available for those who want help to improve their OCR technique.

Entry is now open for the 2018 Tough Tribe Obstacle Course Race which will take place on Sunday, 23 September in Woodbank Park, Stockport, Cheshire.
