Sports fans are being offered the chance to enjoy a two-day summer drinks festival in Manchester, combining live cricket with the FIFA World Cup final. 

Lancashire Cricket Club is hosting a two-day Bails and Ales Festival at Emirates Old Trafford this month. Supported by Heineken, up to 20 local cask ales and premium craft beers from Manchester breweries including JW Lees, Frederic Robinson’s and Joseph Holt will be available throughout the weekend, as well as a range of gins and soft drinks.

Emirates Old Trafford will come alive with music acts, street performers, interactive games and activities. The live entertainment two-day line-up includes Manchester bands; The Claremonts, Plastic House, Flynt and Under the Covers, as well as interactive family activities with Club mascot, Lanky.

Sports fans can enjoy Lancashire Cricket’s Vitality Blast fixture against Derbyshire Falcons on Saturday 14 July, with a large screening of the FIFA World Cup Final to take place in the Foster’s Fan Village on Sunday 15 July. Supporters will then be able to use their matchday ticket to access the screening of the FIFA World Cup Final in the Foster’s Fan Village on Sunday 15 July, as well as a Lancashire second XI friendly fixture against Nottinghamshire.

Adults can get their hands on tickets for Lancashire Lightning’s home game against Derbyshire from just £8, with kids starting from £1 - enabling them to access the fun all weekend.

Football fans who would only like to enjoy the ‘Bails and Ales Festival’ on Sunday 15 June, for the FIFA World Cup final and the Lancashire second XI fixture, can gain access for FREE, and Lancashire Cricket T20 Season Ticket Holders can attend the whole weekend for FREE, on presentation of their membership card.

“The brew was produced with Lytham Brewery for my Testimonial Year and 5p of every pint will go towards two charities close to my heart – Blackpool’s Brian House Children’s Hospice and the Professional Cricketers Association’s Benevolent Fund.”
