Looking for the perfect spot to dine in the sun this summer? Corn Exchange Manchester has 13 restaurants to choose from with a variety of world cuisine and beautiful al fresco dining areas.

The dining destination has three outdoor areas with different vistas to suit any mood or occasion. For a quiet area away from the sun, choose the medieval cobbled Cathedral Street. Enjoy the outdoor seating and relaxed vibe at Pho or Mowgli, both of which have stunning views of the gothic Cathedral and a tantalising Asian food offering.

Fennel Street looks out onto the grassy knoll of Cathedral Gardens, sit and enjoy one of Cabana’s delicious cocktails whilst taking in the views of both old and new with Chethams and the National Football Museum in sight.

Or for hustle and bustle and lots of sunlight, sit outside Banyan Bar & Kitchen, Cosy Club, Vapiano or Salvi’s which are perfect for enjoying the vibrant Exchange Square with delicious food and drink.

And for sunny lunch time breaks there’s grass areas to sit on while enjoying your food of choice. Salvi’s Deli is ideal for creating a delicious picnic to enjoy in the square, Pho to Go is perfect for lunchtime if you want to enjoy some Vietnamese food on the grass, Tampopo offers £5 takeout lunches or enjoy a pizza takeaway with a difference from Vapiano.

Cosy Club has a new food and drink menu and is offering any two cocktails for £9.95 from Sunday to Thursday between 4pm and 8pm. Look forward to its Lime Curd Caipirinha, Strawberries and Cream Cocktail and a Spiced Pineapple Old Fashioned for the perfect summer beverages.

For a taste of Vietnam, visit Pho with its authentic cuisine and enjoy its relaxed al fresco seating. Its light menu is perfect for a sunny afternoon, with fresh juices, healthy noodles and summer rolls all on offer.

Banyan Bar & Kitchen has a huge outdoor area perfect for indulging in its generous selection of Gin & Tonics, including Empress 1908 and Warner Edwards Rhubarb. If you get peckish, you can buy two courses for £14.95 from Sunday to Friday after 5pm.

Salvi’s Mozzarella Bar has a cosy outside area that is perfect for enjoying its delicious pizza and pasta alongside an Aperol Spritz. If the sun is shining in Exchange Square you’d be forgiven for thinking you were in Italy!

So take your pick and sip on a cocktail in the sun after work or enjoy a delicious light lunch on a Saturday afternoon at Corn Exchange.

And of course if we get a typical British summer, there’s the option to escape from rainy days in Salvi’s Prosecco Bar in the Corn Exchange atrium. Surrounded by a selection of delicious restaurants, it’s a perfect indoor spot for a pre-dinner glass of fizz.
