Manchester Christmas Light Switch-On
The Manchester Christmas Light Switch On returns to Albert Square on Saturday, 3 November 2018 from 7.30pm.
Stars of the stage and screen will perform including Jonas Blue, Max George, the cast from Wicked, Dr Dolittle and The Producers. The night will be topped off by a huge 10-minute firework display.
Bolton Christmas Light Swith-On

Fun-filled family Christmas light switch on with live entertainment on Victoria Square from 5pm, finishing with a mystery celebrity light switch on and a spectacular firework display.
Bury Christmas Light Switch-On
Cbeebies Andy Day and his band The Odd Socks will take to the stage at The Rock this Thursay 8th November, joined by R&B singer Lemar, and Santa himself!
Hosted by Tower FM, the centre's Christmas lights switch-on will run from 5:30-7:30pm, feature a number of local acts, and will have a family trip to Disneyland Paris up for grabs!

Rochdale Christmas Light Switch-On
There's plenty to see and do this year in Rochdale for its lights-on celebration - a free programme of family entertainment on Saturday 24 November will see you through from the 1pm market opening until the turning of day to night, when children's favourites Ben Elf and Princess Holly will help Father Christmas and the pantomime cast of 'Sleeping Beauty' light up Rochdale for 2018.
With a wide-range of stalls offering festive gifts and mulled treats for the adults, craft and music workshops for the kids, plus a festive sereande from the Wardle Community Brass Band, it's sure to be a fun day for all the family!

Wigan Town Centre's Christmas Light Switch On will be on 14th November, 4pm-7:30pm at Market Place! There will be a personal appearance by Kingsland Road and Wigan's Got Talent winner Scott Chapman

Christmas lights switch-on show will not go ahead due to the lack of a suitable and safe location. Despite best endeavours and trying everything to make things work, the amount of construction work currently underway at key locations in the city centre this year rules out a big switch-on event.
Oldham’s Christmas Lights Switch-On Sunday 18 November, 1–6pm, FREE Get ready for an ‘out-of-this-world’ experience as we switch-on Oldham’s Christmas lights. Meet TV favourites Tiny and Small from The Clangers in Parliament Square at intervals throughout the day (1pm, 2pm and 3pm). Then join them at Tommyfield Market from 5pm for the big switch-on show and be amazed by the dazzling space age LED robotic dancers from Cirque Bijou. Watch Oldham Theatre Workshop’s other-worldly performance to mark the end of their 50th anniversary celebrations. A fantastic firework display will then finish the evening off with a bang.
