Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford has launched a number of official ticket inclusive packages for cricket fans to experience the game like never before, ahead of hosting the 4th Specsavers Ashes test in 2019, including premium pitch view hotel rooms with breakfast and lunch.

The Specsavers Ashes Test is one of the most iconic games in sport and will return to the historic home of Lancashire Cricket Club next summer for the first time since 2013, with England looking to reclaim the urn from rivals Australia.

Over the years, Emirates Old Trafford has played host to some of the most memorable moments in Ashes cricket, including Shane Warne’s ‘Ball of the Century’ and the incredible 2005 draw, which went all the way down to the final ball.

The official packages allow guests to enjoy an unforgettable world-class event, without the worry of travel arrangements for each day, and guests can choose from three, four or six night stays.

Starting from £2,691 per room for two people, the pitch facing rooms offer the ultimate cricket experience. The breath taking views allow guests to watch the action unfold from the comfort of your own room with access to a private balcony and includes breakfast, a room service lunch, as well as a welcome drink on arrival.

Alternatively, hotel rooms without a pitch facing view are also available, and are the perfect complement to your Ashes experience, starting from £1,492 per room for two people. Including a reserved stand seat for each day of your stay, soak up the excitement in the heart of the atmosphere, before kicking back and relaxing in your room.

All packages also include an official programme, scorecard and radio, as well as a £10 voucher per person to spend in the Lancashire Cricket store.

Daniel Gidney, CEO at Emirates Old Trafford said: “It’s exciting to be welcoming back The Specsavers Ashes to the Club, one of the most hotly anticipated fixtures in International Cricket. Our on-site Hilton Garden Inn has only been open just over a year, and offers the perfect setting to unwind and watch the action unfold.

“We’re looking forward to offering an unrivalled experience for all cricket enthusiasts, and to welcoming fans from across Lancashire and beyond to witness a piece of sporting history.”

Each package includes parking, with three night stays offering the choice of arrival and departure days.
