Sale Water Park

The Trans Pennine Trail winds through 14km of Trafford countryside near Stretford, Sale, Ashton-on-Mersey and Altrincham with the final stretch passing Dunham Massey on the the way to Lymm. Bridgewater Canal
The Bridgewater Canal towpath is 65km (39 miles) long from Leigh in Greater Manchester to Runcorn in Cheshire. The Trafford section runs from Stretford to Dunham passing through Sale and Altrincham. It also connects to the Trans Pennine Trail just north of Sale and at Seamon's Road in Altrincham.
