Food, drink and retail neighbourhood Hatch will start the first phase of its reopening with a click and collect service set to launch on Thursday 18th June.

Customers can browse the menus of their favourite Hatch street food traders via the  Good Eats website and pre-order a bespoke street food feast (from any combination of dishes across any of the menus) all via their smartphone.

Following its closure in March, the Hatch team has been following the evolving government guidance around COVID-19 closely, and exploring ways that the destination will be able to open safely again. Hatch is home to more than 26 independent operators for whom the closure of the site has been a devastating blow to their livelihoods.

In this first step towards reopening the Hatch team’s ambition is to bring some much missed, quality, independent food and drink back to the city centre.

Andrea George, Retail Director at Bruntwood Works, who own and operate Hatch, said:
“The closure of the site has been devastating for the small, independent, creative businesses that make up the Hatch family and so we’re working closely with them to support a safe and gradual reopening of the Hatch neighbourhood. Our click and collect model is the first step in that process and we’re delighted to be welcoming the traders back from Thursday.”
