Women's EURO 2022 draw

Manchester will be front and centre of the biggest women’s European sport event in history after being hand-picked as one of nine host cities for the hotly-anticipated UEFA Women’s EURO 2022. 

Manchester City Academy Stadium, home to Gareth Taylor’s Manchester City side, is guaranteed to host at least three matches throughout the tournament which kicks off at Old Trafford on 6 July. The matches include Belgium vs Iceland, Italy vs Iceland and Italy vs Belgium. 

The public ballot for tickets is now open and will close on 16 November. Remaining tickets will go on general sale from mid-February 2022.

Manchester will welcome players and fans from around Europe, to its three host venues, which include Manchester City Academy Stadium and Leigh Sports Village as well as Old Trafford. 

London, Sheffield, Southampton, Brighton, Milton Keynes, and Rotherham will also welcome women’s football’s most highly-rated stars.
