RLWC2021 trophies

Tickets are now up for grabs for the hotly anticipated Rugby League World Cup 2021, following the announcement of the new revised 2022 schedule exactly one year ahead of the event’s weekend-long climax to be held in Manchester.
 

The tournament, which features 32 teams across 21 competing nations participating in the men’s, women’s and wheelchair tournaments, begins at St James’ Park, Newcastle on 15 October before Headingley Stadium, Leeds opens the women’s tournament on 1 November and a double-header at the iconic Copper Box, London kicks off the wheelchair event on 3 November.
 

Wigan’s DW Stadium will also host the double-header men’s quarter final and England v Canada women’s Group A match.
 

The five weeks of world-class sporting action will reach its thrilling climax in a showpiece weekend in Manchester featuring the wheelchair final at Manchester Central on 18 November, followed by the double-header men’s and women’s final at Old Trafford the next day. 
 

The competition will be a breakthrough moment in the tournament’s history with the men’s, women’s and wheelchair competitions being staged together for the first time.
 

The three tournaments will take place across 21 venues throughout England. Both the women’s and wheelchair competitions will be contested by two groups of four teams, whilst the men’s tournament will see 16 teams compete across four groups.
