For the Love of Sci-Fi returns to Manchester this weekend. Guests announced include action legends Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. Other headline guests include:

• Stranger Things stars Dacre Montgomery, Cara Buono, Mason Dye, Nikola Ðuričko, Jake Busey, and Randy Havens

• Rogue One star Guy Henry
• The Phantom Menace’s Hugh Quarshie,
• The Empire Strikes Back stars Julian Glover and Richard Oldfield

• Metal Gear Solid voice actor David Hayter

The schedule will include a chance to see fantastic film prop replicas: a full-sized Colonial Viper from the mighty Battlestar Galactica science fiction TV show, the screen-used Lawmaster from the 2012 film DREDD, a lounge set with alphabet wall from the hit Netflix sci-fi horror TV show Stranger Things, The Powerloader from Aliens, the mighty Hammerstein from ABC Warriors, and the amazing ED-209 from the original Robocop movie! Alongside this superb range of film and TV goodness, local traders will be selling collector items and convention rarities all weekend in the traders’ hall, just in time for Christmas.
