1. Eligibility: This competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of Marketing Manchester, Lowry, The Alchemist MediacityUK, Holiday Inn Manchester MediacityUK, their immediate families, associated agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
2. How to Enter: To enter the competition, entrants must complete the official entry form on the Visit Manchester website. No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted.
3. Competition Period: The competition closes at midday, Friday 8th May 2025. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
4. The Prize: The prize consists of a Quayside MediaCityUK Theatre Break. The prize package includes:
4.1 Two tickets to see Dear England at Lowry at a date between 29 May and 29 June - subject to availability
4.2 Three course meal for two with a Mad Hatters sharing cocktail at The Alchemist MediacityUK. Must be pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance. Bookings to be requested via email provided to the winner. Not available on Saturdays or within the festive period. Valid for 6 months from date of issue
4.3 Bed and Breakfast for 2 at Holiday Inn Manchester MediaCityUK. The offer is subject to availability and valid from now until 31st August 2025.
5. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received within the competition period.
6. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified by email within 3 working days of the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 24 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
7. Prize Acceptance: The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. No substitutions are allowed, except at the discretion of Marketing Manchester, who reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value if necessary.
8. Travel and Expenses: The prize does not include travel to and from any venue, or any other expenses incurred during the stay, other than those expressly stated in the prize description.
9. Data Protection: Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent. See Marketing Manchester's privacy policy for further details.
10. General: Marketing Manchester reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time or to cancel the competition if deemed necessary. The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
