Terms and Conditions: AO Arena x Maldron Hotel Competition

1. Eligibility:

• This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over only.
• This competition is not open to employees of Marketing Manchester, participating prize venues, ASM Global, or the Ticket Agent.

2. Prize Details:

• The prize includes:
  • Dinner and overnight stay with breakfast for two at Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter.
  • 2x tickets for The Corrs on November 11th, 2024 with access to The Mezz Bar, including:
    • Early access via dedicated VIP entrance.
    • Direct access to the arena bowl with panoramic views of the stage.
    • All-inclusive bar food and premium drinks.
    • Fully serviced cloakroom.
• The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
• The prize is not transferable.
• Valid for 12 months from the date of the draw.
• Subject to availability.
• We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.  

3. Winner Selection:

• The winner will be selected at random.
• The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. Competition Closing Date:

• The competition will close at midday on Thursday, October 31st, 2024.
• The winner will be contacted within 24 hours of the closing date.
• Judges cannot accept responsibility for late entries.
• No entry can be accepted if mandatory fields are not completed.

5. Tickets:

• Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after they have been issued, except in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Ticket Agent’s terms. Please check your tickets carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
• Tickets may not be resold or transferred for profit or commercial gain. Doing so may result in refusal of entry or ejection from the Arena without a refund.
• You must keep your ticket with you at all times at the event.
• Lost, stolen, damaged, or altered tickets will not be replaced.
• When purchasing tickets, you may be restricted to a maximum number per person, per credit/debit card, and/or per household. Any tickets purchased in excess of this limit may be canceled without prior notice or refund.  
• Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, competitions, or sweepstakes without prior written consent from ASM Global and the Organiser.

6. Entry to the Arena and Event:

• A valid ticket must be produced to gain entry to the Arena.
• You may be searched upon entry to the Arena. Refusal to cooperate with security may result in refusal of entry or ejection from the Arena.
• Certain items are prohibited within the Arena, including outside food and beverages, professional cameras and recording equipment, illegal items, and any other items deemed dangerous or disruptive.  
• Smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is strictly prohibited.
• No animals are permitted in the Arena, with the exception of guide or assistance dogs.
• The performance start time is approximate and subject to change. Latecomers may not be admitted.
• Re-admission to the Arena is not permitted once you have left.
• Strobe, laser, flashing, or other lighting effects may be used during the event.
• Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing.  

7. Liability:

• ASM Global and the Organiser reserve the right to alter or vary the scheduled event in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• If the event is canceled or postponed, you may be entitled to a refund of your ticket from the ticket agent you purchased it from. Booking, service, and administration fees are non-refundable.
• ASM Global and the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from any alterations or changes to the event, or in the event of a Force Majeure Event (e.g., war, terrorism, natural disaster).
• Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. General:

• These terms and conditions do not confer any rights to any third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.  
• The competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be severed from the terms and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
