Worker Bee Weekender meets Love London Weekend
Bringing together over 50 global travel influencers and content creators to meet, collaborate and discover; the Worker Bee Weekender meet Love London Weekend is a landmark tourism event taking place in Manchester and London from Thursday 22 to Monday 26 March 2018.
With the objective to showcase the very best of these two iconic cities and show just how easy it is to fly into one, out of the other and travel between cities by train; the event builds on the previous success of similar weekends organised respectively by Manchester and London in 2017: July’s #WorkerBeeWeekender and October’s #LoveLondonWeekend.
The content creators will fly into the northern city of Manchester where they will experience a warm welcome and have the chance to immerse themselves in a city that is still largely undiscovered: young, vibrant and creative with a captivating post-industrial vibe. From Manchester the group will travel south by train to London where they will explore diverse neighbourhoods and offbeat attractions, alongside the capital’s world-famous icons. After a jam-packed four days the group will fly home from London with a dazzling fresh perspective of what both cities have to offer, and a sense of just how easy it is to experience a twin city break to the UK. They will be joined in both cities by local content creators who will show them their favourite spots and hidden local secrets.
Expect to see content covering experiences such as exclusive themed walks; private tours and behind-the-scenes access to museums and galleries; panoramic cityscapes; opportunities to meet chefs, brewers, musicians and DJs; diverse food and drink experiences; and a wide range of gigs, theatre, nightlife events and more. The content creators will all be sharing their experiences using three hashtags: #WorkerBeeWeekender, #LoveLondonWeekend and #MCRxLDN and we encourage you to follow the journey with them
