The footpath around Hollingworth Lake is open. The visitor centre and toilets of Rakewood Road remain closed. The cafe and toilets at Lake Bank and the Pavilion are open and we've increased the level of cleaning.
Please respect the social distancing guidelines. There will be signage in place to indicate a one way system around the lake for pedestrians to follow.
The lake attracts a large number of visitors and we're asking you to consider the safety of yourself and others.
If the area looks busy, please consider visiting at an alternative time or perhaps visit somewhere else that is local to your home.
Please check our Coronavirus page for updates.
Rochdale Borough Council run a visitor centre at Hollingworth Lake which boasts a number of facilities to help improve your visit.
Facilities at the visitor centre include an information desk, a small shop, a café, toilets, hearing loop, FREE mobility scooter hire and a permanent exhibition of local wildlife, heritage and art. Please contact us in advance to book a mobility scooter.
