Have an adventure at Knowsley Safari this summer! Kick off the day with a tour of the 550 acre Safari Drive and get acquainted with over 700 wild animals, from baboons to camels, wildebeest to lions, all from the comfort of your car.

The drive through lion enclosure is a real highlight of the safari while for many visitors the baboons are the stars. Whether up close, on the Baboon Bus or by taking the car friendly route, visitors will get a great view of the monkey madness; the boisterous baboons that have become Knowsley's trademark. 

An all-day destination, the fun doesn't end with the Safari Drive. On the Foot Safari, guests can take a walk on the dark side through the Bat Forest - a 5* home from home for  Egyptian fruit bats, or marvel at the birds of prey. The 'beak to face' Birds of Prey Experience is sure to amaze your family as they show just why they are some of nature’s greatest predators... Anything could happen as they swoop and dive just inches above visitor’s heads.

What's more, guests can get up close and personal at the Giraffe Tower or gaze over at the tapir splashing around in the Mizzy Lake. Watch the sea lions splash about in our sea lion display and get meet the mob of meerkats.

Knowsley Safari’s brand new Wolf Country has now opened, ready for you and the little ones to explore. Check out our beautiful wolves roaming in their new home. You can sneak a peek in the wolf peep holes or peer through the periscope. But the adventure doesn’t stop there, get your explorer hat on and venture onto the Wolf Trail. There’s loads of interactive activities for the kids to get involved in with evidence to discover, facts to read, dens to explore and even some wolf poo to discover along the way!
