To Bugsworth Basin:The mooring at Bugsworth Basin is in the village of Buxworth in the High Peak. Take the A6 out from Stockport towards Buxton and we are between New Mills and Chapel-en-le-Frith. If coming from Stockport, pass through the small village of Furness Vale, then take the sharp left after going under the railway bridge on to the B6062. After Brittania Trading Estate take the first Right (Brookside). At the Navigation Inn, turn Right and follow the single-track road down to the cargo containers. You can park on the opposite side of these containers, near to the visitor shop and toilet facilities. Most trips start or finish at mooring, so if coming by private car it is advised to park there and take a taxi to your start point, or back there from your finishing point. For your convenience all start and finishing points are within walking distance of train stations.
