Transport for Wales run trains across Wales and it’s borders to 248 stations a day-including Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool, Shrewsbury, Holyhead and more. From Manchester you can travel to Cardiff direct in under 3.5 hours, and to Llandudno Junction in just over 2 hours.

You can save up to half the price on your long-distance train journeys by booking Advance tickets, making re-connecting with friends and family more affordable. These typically go on sale up to 6 weeks before your journey, the further ahead you buy the lower these fares can be.
