The award-winning Lightopia is back and ready to light up Heaton Park this Christmas brighter than ever with brand new installations and routes.
Embark on a vibrant journey through our Lightopia Christmas Story. Focusing on hope, new beginnings and rebirth our NEW light trail will take you on an illuminated adventure through Manchester's Heaton Park. With dazzling illuminations, mesmerising installations, an immersive water show and the presence of our world famous Phoenix, this year's Lightopia is set to be one you and your family will never forget!
Lightopia is an immersive and visually-dramatic lantern and light festival, that promises to fuse beautiful art installations with human experience.
Lightopia opening dates and times
Lightopia runs from the 24th November unti the 2nd January 2023. Opening times are between 17:00 to 22:00, and last entry is 20:30 daily.
Getting to Lightopia
Lightopia takes place at Heaton Park which has its own tram stop. If you need to drive you can pre-book parking tickets.
