Come join us at the Manchester Open, one of Europe’s biggest squash tournaments, for some fantastic squash and fun activities.

The Manchester Open will feature 48 of the world’s greatest squash players, as they take to the court during the Easter holidays. The Men’s draw is led by World No.3 and 2020 winner Mohamed ElShorbagy, 2021 CIB PSA World Tour Finals winner Marwan ElShorbagy and British No.1 Joel Makin.

Also at the PSA Silver event, World No.1 and five-time World Champion Nour El Sherbini leading the women’s draw, while British No.1 Sarah-Jane Perry is also one of the major contenders for the title. She will be one of several British players in the draw, including Wales’ No.1s Joel Makin and Tesni Evans, and alongside rising star Georgina Kennedy.

Hosted at the National Squash Centre in a stunning all-glass court arena - located on the Etihad Campus in the East of the city - the event has seen players from across the globe lift the trophy, with Peru’s Diego Elias and Egypt’s Hania El Hammamy taking the titles last time out. Manchester has a close association with world-class squash and also hosted the AJ Bell PSA World Championships in 2017 at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

This year’s Manchester Open will be the fourth instalment of the event and is expected to be bigger and better than ever. For this year’s event a series of activities have been designed to provide an amazing squash experience to all fans of the sport, including:

- An interactive squash wall
- A dedicated fan zone with a mini court and multiple pop-up squash nets
- Our friends from Dunlop and Racketware showcasing their great products
- The Manchester Open Graded, a squash event anyone can enter
- The Northwest Counties Squash League finals on Monday, April 18th
