Standish Christmas Market is a free to attend family day of festivity and freezing fun in the centre of Standish, Wigan. We're proud to be different and love to be local.
This one-day event will involve two indoor craft markets offering the best North West traders; streets lined with outdoor market stalls and a beer tent operated by the village’s own Albion Ale House. Live music will be onstage throughout the day, from a ukulele band to school choirs, then at 4pm we’ll present some fantastic local musical talent until the stage closes at 8pm.
The village library hosts Santa’s Grotto (by advance booking only) and other kid’s entertainment activities, while the free Christmas Trail will take your young ones around the village on a festive hunt for the chance to win prizes.
