The Manchester Coffee Festival takes over the venue to bring a series of events including the team-based Extracted Development competition, and the exciting UK Cup Taster Competition. 2. How the Grinch took over Cockfields Farm 
 

This weekend, 18 and 19 November, Cockfields Farm, near Oldham, is welcoming a popular, mischievous Dr. Seuss character. Get ready for fun games and activities with the Grinch on the Farm, and you can even take a picture with the green and not-so-mean Grinch. Farm admission is included, so you’ll get to meet some cute small animals, feed the meerkats, and even enjoy a carousel ride! Tickets start from £15 for children, £17 for adults. 
 

3. Unleash your inner art enthusiast at Manchester Art Fair 
 

Between 17 and 19 November, enjoy a curated mix of galleries and independent artists with the acclaimed Manchester Art Fair at Manchester Central. Here you will find spectacular art works, print demos, art classes and expert talks. Pop down to INNSiDE Manchester and find a free pop-up exhibition with sculptures from the Saul Hay Gallery. 4. Step into the magical land of Tinsel Town at the Trafford Centre 
 

The festive season has arrived at The Trafford Centre! Starting from Friday, 17 November, the leisure destination transforms into Tinsel Town, a magical winter wonderland where you’ll find a huge ice rink, festive themed fairground rides and stunning ice shows. Pose for a photo by the over-50ft tall Christmas Tree bar, hop onto The Big Wheel to view the scenery from 55 meters high and then sit down for some Yorkshire pudding wraps, donuts, and hot chocolate. Fairground entry is £2 if pre-booked online.  
 

5. Discover the glowing magic of Greater Manchester’s canals 
 

The wide network of Wigan’s canals is being lit up in a free event between 16 and 18 November. Head over to Mesnes Park this week and discover glowing light installations that bring out the magic of the area. Light Night Wigan will feature many craft workshops and storytelling shows to watch, as well as plenty of street food vendors selling delicious warming food and drinks. The event is completely free to attend, but make sure you don’t miss out by booking your preferred timeslot.
