Explore the story behind one of the UK’s largest Egyptology collections 

On Tuesday 21 March, discover the fascinating story behind Manchester Museum's impressive collection of Egyptian antiquities in this engaging talk by Dr Campbell Price. Hosted at the Royal Northern College of Music, delve into the rich history of Egyptology in Manchester and gain insights into the cultural attitudes of the time. The talk coincides with the return of the major international touring exhibition 'Golden Mummies of Egypt', making it a must-see event for all history enthusiasts. On Wednesday 22 March, England men's under-20s will take on Germany at the Manchester City Academy Stadium. The match is part of a three-match camp for the Young Lions, who are preparing for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia. England qualified for the tournament after winning the U19 European Championship last summer and this will be England's first appearance in the U20 World Cup since they were crowned champions in 2017.
