Albert is the former occupant of the shed, and he used to store his tools and equipment during the renovation of Dukes 92 next door and the lock keeper's cottage opposite. He agreed to move out of the shed to make way for the restaurant on the condition that the restaurant was named after him.
Albert's Shed is a stylish city centre restaurant serving modern Italian cuisine and with the advantage of a location at the centre of the Castlefield canal basin. The restaurant has ample car parking and provides a picturesque and secure environment for weekend and evening dining out.
A great value children's menu with 2 delicious courses for £5.50 makes this a great choice for families, expecially on Saturday lunchtimes when children eat for free.
